'All About That Bass'는 미국의 싱어송라이터인 '메건 트레이너 (Meghan Trainor)'의 2014년 9월 9일에 발매된 EP 앨범 [Title]과 2015년 1월 9일에 발매된 데뷔 앨범 [Title]에 수록이 된 곡이다.
미니 앨범인 EP 앨범은 빌보드 앨범 차트 15위를 기록하였고, 데뷔 앨범인 [Title]은 빌보드 앨범 차트 1위, 영국, 캐나다, 호주, 뉴질랜드, 스코틀랜드 등에서 앨범 차트 1위를 차지하면서 데뷔 앨범으로서는 큰 성공을 거두었다.
'All About That Bass'는 '메건 트레이너'와 앨범의 프로듀서인 '케빈 카디쉬 (Kevin Kadish)가 만든 곡으로 앨범의 첫 번째 싱글로 2014년 6월 30일에 발매가 되었고, 전 세계적으로 1,100만 장 이상의 판매고를 올리며 'All About That Bass'는 그야말로 초대박 이상의 성공을 거두었다.
'All About That Bass'는 미국의 빌보드 싱글 차트 8주 연속 1위, 영국 싱글 차트 4주 연속 1위를 차지하였고, 무려 58개 국가에서 싱글 차트 1위를 차지하였고, 2015년 제57회 그래미 올해의 레코드. 그래미 올해의 노래를 수상을 하였다.
